Sandra - Health Update 24 Jan 2009

Good Evening
Everyone,
Happy New Year (Western and Chinese). We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful festive season and a great start to the new year.
Sandra finished her chemo’ schedule just over one month ago and since that time she has continued to gain strength and grow her hair!! Her health has remained excellent and today we received the results of an MRI scan that was done on 19th Jan and blood work that was done today. In short, the results are outstanding. The MRI shows a completely healthy and clear picture and her blood is returning normal ranges in all areas that are measured. We are very happy and can now proceed on our month long holiday knowing that we don’t have to return to the Oncologist until 12th March.
We are getting very excited about leaving Hong Kong on 4th February. We have decided to take a four day break at a spa resort in Malaysia before flying to Australia. We will spend a week in Melbourne:
a week in Sydney/South Coast of New South Wales:
and two weeks on the Gold Coast in Queensland:
We will be taking our time to catch up with family and friends but with no specific agenda. Our aim is to take it VERY easy and honour the need for our bodies and minds to take a break.
We would like to thank you all again for your continued support. We have heard from many of you over the past month and we know that you continue to pray, meditate and provide support to us from near and far and for that we are truly grateful.
We hope this finds you all well. We look forward to seeing many of you soon.
Finally, we made the most of the wonderful weather here in Hong Kong and took some photo in and around the area we live in (Discovery Bay). You can click on the following link and see how my Princess is looking one month out of treatment. I am sure that you will agree with me when I say her hair is getting rather long!! Enjoy:
