Andrew Denton - Enough Rope
I appeared on Andrew Denton on 27th August 2007 to discuss some of the rescues I have been involved in. Click on the picture above to see more.
Who am I?
I am the Chief Pilot of an aeromedical company called CareFlight (NSW). I have flown for a number of organisations in my career, the greater part for the Royal Australian Navy where I spent 25 years of my life. Click on the image below to access the CareFlight website.

I spent a good deal of my life to date in the Australian Navy as a pilot. This is me above landing on the back of an Australian Navy Frigate.
The first ship I spent some time on (2 1/2 years) was HMAS Melbourne, a Majestic class aircraft carrier. If you look closely you can see me at left!! I am the third person down from the top in the left arm of the "V" in "Service."
My civilian flying career has been in the aeromedical industry. The photo at left is with Ben and our BK117 at Mt Bundey in the Northern Territory supporting the Australian Defence Force.
I also fly fixed wing aircraft in the aeromedical role. The photo below is when I was flying Super King Airs with NSW Air Ambulance. One of the best jobs I have ever had.
I also fly business jets in the aeromedical role to destinations around the South West Pacific and Asia.
